When I started out in leather craft, I found that most businesses were pretty stingy with their knowledge and resources (understandable I guess in a competitive business world). But we decided early on that the community was the most valued aspect of our business. We want to make sure that anyone can turn to us as a trusted ally. Whether it's about leather craft, social media strategy, or you just want to chat, our doors are wide open, which is why we sell some of our DIY Leather Wallet Design Templates and make so many how-to videos. So when our friend Chelsea Scanlan, founder of Make + Master, came to us about teaching a leather working class, we couldn't have jumped on board any faster. On April 16th, we got together with a real top notch group of people at Church and State in Salt Lake City, Utah and we cut, stitched, laughed, cried, ate, drank, connected, and everyone left that day as better leather crafters and better friends. Watch the highlight video produced by @jaredwortleyfilms, and peruse the beautiful images captured by @lobleephotography and you'll see why you won't want to miss the next leather working class!
